Castlevania SOTN gets a wonderful artwork from Genzoman
Castlevania SOTN’s Alucard, Maria Renard and the Succubus drawn by Genzoman
Castlevania Symphony of the Night and its many awesome characters is one of the best Castlevania games in general I think and so I was pretty glad that Genzoman who draws video game art for a living but also as his hobby still delivered this fan art of the game.
He wrote:
“This image was done a long time ago for a videogame expo. Castlevania is one of my favorite series ever. My favorite one is Super Castlevania IV, but Symphony of the Night won a special place in my heart, not only because the awesome art and music (2D >>>>>> 3D) but also, because it was a big change over the gameplay, it added RPG mechanics and changedthe whole Belmont vs Dracula setting for an inverse situation.
Also it was a big surprise for me because I played it in the Japanese release and since I didn’t understand the items names or the script, I thought I finished the game after the battle with Shaft. A year later when I got an american copy, it was awesome to discover I miss pretty much the half of the game with the Reverse Castle… and also that terrible but charming “Die you monster you don’t belong in this world!”
I hope you like it!”
