Exdeath is the main antagonist of Final Fantasy V (1992) who also appeared in multiple Final Fantasy Spinoff games later as a boss character including Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (2015). Exdeath became a playable character in Final Fantasy: Dissidia (2008). In 2017, Exdeath returned as a Boss in the Stormblood Expansion of Final Fantasy XIV. While Exdeath looks like a tall Knight, he is actually a Tree that grew as a solitary prison for malevolent souls These souls residing within the tree made it self-aware and it assumed a humanoid form. |
