Garuda is one of the Street Fighter EX characters. He was introduced as an unlockable Boss character in Street Fighter EX (1996) and returned in that role in the two sequels Street Fighter EX2 (1999) and Street Fighter EX3 (2000). Garuda did not appear in any other games until Arika returned to the fighting game scene with Fighting EX Layer (2018) where he is one of the playable characters of course. Similar to Shin Gouki, there is also an unplayable and stronger boss version of him, called Shin Garuda. Like all other older Street Fighter characters, he was mentioned and got an updated Bio & Illustration on Capcom’s Street Fighter V (2016) website. |
