Hotaru is one of the playable Mortal Kombat characters that were introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deception (2004). He represents the Realm of Order and fights those that would dare to break the order. His arch enemy in MK Deception is Havik who represents the Realm of Chaos. Hotaru returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (2006), in Mortal Kombat 9 (2011) his dead body can be seen in the intro cutscene. Hotaru had only two special moves in MK Deception but got two additional ones in MK Armageddon. |
