King from Tekken in the GA-HQ Video Game Character DB
King is one of the playable characters in the Tekken fighting game series by Namco and one of the handful characters in the series that were playable in every part so far. King debuted in Tekken (1994) and returned in every Tekken up to the latest game, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution (2016). He also made it as a playable character into crossover games like Street Fighter X Tekken (2012) and Namco X Capcom (2005). King is using Pro-Wrestling as fighting style and is known as the fighting game characters with the probably most grapple techniques ever. King knows a ton of submission moves like the Figure Four Leg Lock but also many Power Moves like the Piledriver and the Giant Swing. The King from Tekken 3-today is also known as King II. The first Man under the Jaguar mask died during or after the events of Tekken 2 (1995). |
